The Magnificent venue called C
Here in C electric, I am waiting for _A Madman's Diary_ by Nickoli Gogel (this one's for you Dr. Phillips), and I just got done sending an email to Paula Vogel. I met a student of hers the other day and decided to use it to talk to her a bit about her show. Mabye she'll write back. As you know, we have been getting some very good response to the show. It is now the best selling show in C Venues (not to be confused with the most-selling, we only have a 60 or so person venue). We found out yesterday though that management has reserved at all times 10 seats in every C venue so that in case management wants to go see it, they will have a seat. The long short of it is, that management has not come to see our show, and we have been turning paying people away with around 10 seats left in the house...they really are a stupid venue. Front of house though, is going to work something out to where they sneak people in.

finally landed long enough to hunt down your blog address (thanks Shannon M.) and enjoy the narrative of your journey - thanks for telling the story as part of your experience. if my calculations are close you are a about one third of the way into your performance schedule - i can only try to imagine what it takes to sustain the energy night after night. A. the description of the unicorn had me laughing out loud! T. some of your description of 'getting into character' had me musing (again) on moving beyond mid-pointery. Please add my warner address to your list serve so i can keep closer tabs as the month progresses, okay?
