Updates and Photos...

Ready for a meta-internet moment... this is us right now.

that is the entrance to the theatre where we do the show every day. Tyler is in there acting right now. Billy and I being the webrats that we are are doing front of house work today so, we have to sit out here... also the show is sold out... where would we sit?!

Today while flyering tyler and I did a bit of a photo commentary. We took all of these photos in b&w with in 5 mins of our shift. We were on the mile passing out flyers for 2 hours today and you see some crazy things and people. These are some of the more tame things we saw today, so next time I will walk around and find interesting sights for you all.

here are some pleasent protestors that are doing a bit of a satire walking down the road doing some advertizing for their play.

another odd marketing tactic. This is a woman in costume (i hope) chatting tyler up about each others plays. Her flyers are beer coasters. Briliant.

tyler with our 'look how great we are with all of our stars and such' poster board. We have a more explicit name for it than that, it is funny for us (to a bunch of people living in eachothers ellbows).

splinter cell the musical anyone?

not the best marketing ideas. The younger traveling groups always have horrible ideas like this that make you want to see the play less.

happy come to my show tyler.

rejected tyler.

dancing romeo and juliet characters (the costumes are beautiful but it is getting horrid reviews... hehheh.)

yeah, you can figure this one out as much as me. Just know that this man was moving very very very slow. It took him about an hour to work his way all the way around the mile (which is no where near a mile).

FINALLY, rest and Guiness for Tyler.

and tea for me.

Edinburgh is odd, the city is split in two by a dried up river that I think the English decided to make into a rail passage. The right side of these photos is Old Town, where the castle is and the Royal Mile and our venue and the bulk of the Festival. The left side of the images is New Town where other less culturally inspired buildings are. except the Scott monument is in new town (you can see it in some of these photos.

Nick, finially ... this one is for you. I had a whole conversation with him about how i perfer the girl monkey because of how good her handling is. Tyler told Ay Ay (right?) that he was has favorite but that you use the big monkey. I dont think at Ay Ay cared.

Play is wrapping up. Talk to you all soon!

love
a

Thanks for the travel journal entry, Nick and Wayne and Gracie and I loved it.

We laughed, we cried, and the costumes were perfect...

You all have tee-shirts!! Can I have one (buy one)? Or maybe when you get back I will sneak into your room and make off with yours, that is, after all, how I got my favorite tee-shits and pj pants.

Love you, glad you're having fun.
